Hello, Mission Control

Write the codeEasy 3 stages

You've just joined the crew of the starship Python One. Before launch, every crew member checks in with Mission Control from the ship's console.

The console is brand new and completely silent. Teach it to talk: first a fixed message, then a greeting for anyone who comes on board.

Make the console print exactly these two lines:

Mission Control, this is Python One.
All systems ready.

The first print() is already there. Add one for the second line. Capital letters, commas and full stops must match.

Print the call sign
Report that all systems are ready

Finish stage 1 to unlock this stage.

Now the console has to greet whoever comes on board. Ask for the crew member's name with input(), keep it in a variable, and reply with an f-string. When someone types Ada, the console prints:

Welcome aboard, Ada!

The question you show in input(), like Your name: , is up to you. The tests only look at what print() shows.

Greet the crew member by name
Use an f-string

Finish stage 2 to unlock this stage.

Mission Control also needs to know each person's job. After the name, ask for the role, then print two lines. For Ada and pilot:

Welcome aboard, Ada!
Ada is our pilot.
Keep the greeting
Ask for the role and print it

# F-strings - modern text formatting
astronaut = "John Smith"
mission = "Mars Explorer"
days_in_space = 180

print(f"Astronaut: {astronaut}")
print(f"Mission: {mission}")
print(f"Duration: {days_in_space} days")

# We can also do calculations
print(f"That is {days_in_space / 30:.1f} months")

Separate arguments with commas. They're passed on every Run as sys.argv[1:].
