  1. In RuntimeError: dictionary changed size during iteration

Same applies to lists, except lists don't warn you — they just skip elements silently. Even worse!

  2. In zip() silently dropping data scared me

strict=True! Using that from now on.

  3. In How do you remember all the syntax?

Completely normal. Nobody remembers everything — experienced devs look things up all day. You'll remember what you use often, and look up the rest. The skill is knowing what to look up.

  4. In Book or videos — what worked for you?

+1 for Automate the Boring Stuff. It's also free to read online.

  5. In How strict should valid_email be?

That one-liner is gold. Using it everywhere now.

  6. In Why does print need brackets? Old tutorial doesn't use them

Same thing happened to me with a YouTube video from 2014. Check the date before following anything 🙂

  7. In continue vs wrapping everything in an if

Strip before checking for "#" — a comment line with leading spaces otherwise slips through.

  8. In Stage 2 says my output doesn't match but it looks identical

Welcome to programming, where one space can ruin your afternoon 😄

  9. In if __name__ == "__main__": — what is this for?

Without it, importing a module runs all its top-level code, which can be surprising (prints, file writes...).

  10. In round(2.5) is 2?? Is this a bug?

Not a bug — Python uses "banker's rounding" (round half to even): exact .5 cases go to the nearest even number. So round(2.5) is 2, round(3.5) is 4. It avoids a systematic upward bias when you round lots of values.
